Staying in Freddie Mercurys childhood home was special. It is a really beautiful apartment and on top of that you get use of the facilities at the hotel. I only had one night but it will definitely stay in the memory bank!!!

Much bigger than we were expecting . A great location in Stone town - close to the sea and to get into the maze of roads about it. The food at the hotel was great and the staff all very helpful. Glad we stayed at the apartment rather than the hotel as it was nice and quiet. Quite strange people to be taking photos of your front door!!

The apartment is in the heart of an stone town. This is an absolutely different feeling to live in a Freddie Mercury's Home. The furniture and atmosphere not modern, but absolutely in Africanian (Morocco) style. Definitely to live in Tembo Hotel more comfortable than in apartments, but it worth it.

The location is great! Close to the beach, plenty of shopping, and next to the bank so you have easy access to an ATM. The staff for the apartments were fantastic and it was very clean. The apartment was very spacious with a great balcony to sit and people watch. The decor was awesome. It looks exactly as pictured in the photos. Loved the bathrooms (and hot shower!) At night, there was always someone guarding the door to the apartment which made it feel secure. The breakfast at Tembo hotel was delicious and the staff there was extremely hospitable. I actually booked a night at Tembo after my friends left and enjoyed my stay there as well. I highly recommend booking this apartment if youre staying in the Stone Town!

We stayed in an appartment in the Mercury house. Fantastic place and great location. Hotel restaurant serves super delicious food and staff is amazing!

The apartment is huge. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable. There are 2 separate big bathrooms. Outstanding showers. Perfect location.
